We are looking for a passionate, dedicated, and qualified Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join our friendly, supportive team in the under-2s 'Explorers' room. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Personalised Care & Education: Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning, development, and social-emotional growth for the under-2s.
- Safety & Supervsion: Supervise children during play, meal times, and rest periods, ensuring a warm, safe, and nurturing environment at all times.
- Tracking Development: Maintain accurate records of children's progress and behaviour using the EYFS framework, supporting individual needs through personalised care plans.
- Partnership with Parents: Build strong, trusting relationships with parents and guardians, confidently communicating daily updates and developmental milestones.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues to organise daily routines, maintain a clean, welcoming environment, and support junior staff to maintain team cohesion.
- Outings (Optional): Assist with or drive nursery vehicles for local outings or errands when required (if holding a valid licence).
What you’ll bring:
- Qualifications: A relevant Level 3 childcare qualification (or above) is essential.
- Experience: Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood setting (experience with under-5s or under-2s preferred).
- Skills: A creative heart, a deep understanding of the EYFS framework, and excellent English communication skills.
- Attributes: Patience, empathy, strong organizational skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for early years education.
- Licence (Preferred): A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential.
Additional Information:
- A successful background disclosure check (DBS) is required for this role.
- This role does not attract sufficient points to qualify for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship under the points-based immigration system.
