Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene. This role offers minimum 9 hrs per week. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. The position is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy creating a welcoming environment for clients and staff alike.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, washrooms, and communal areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards
- Disinfect high-touch areas such as door handles, switches, and fixtures
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
- Ensure waste bins are emptied and waste disposed of appropriately
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning equipment and supplies
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is desirable but not mandatory
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
