We are recruiting for a Weighbridge Operator to join a busy and friendly site in High Wycombe. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organised, enjoys working with people, and has a strong eye for detail. Full training can be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the weighbridge and accurately record vehicle and load information.
- Issue weighbridge tickets and related paperwork.
- Direct vehicles to the correct loading or tipping areas.
- Communicate professionally with drivers, customers, and site staff.
- Answer customer enquiries by phone.
- Monitor vehicle movements and ensure site procedures are followed.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety.
About You
- Previous weighbridge, administration, or logistics experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Good IT and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Well organised and able to work in a busy environment.
- Positive and reliable approach to work.
