We are seeking a motivated and collaborative individual to join our team as a Teaching and Learning Administrator (Programmes and Curriculum). This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the administration within the School of Biological Sciences working in a dynamic and inclusive environment.
You will be responsible for:

To be responsible for the administration of Teaching and Learning, and Student Administration activities for the team assigned.

To supervise and coordinate the work of teaching and learning, and Student Administration and act as a point of reference.

To provide information, advice and guidance to stakeholders.
-
To work flexibly as required across the University, supporting the delivery of university and local priorities, operating at all times as a single cross University team.

To have awareness and active engagement with the need for diversity and inclusion in all that we do for example, when working with individuals who identify with a protected characteristic under the Equality Act, students who are under-represented in higher education as outlined in the University's widening participation strategy.

Relevant knowledge and experience of teaching and learning and/or student administration policies and procedures.

Flexible and responsive to customer needs, with excellent communication skills and the ability to provide information, advice and guidance while maintaining confidentiality.

Ability to supervise staff and coordinate work activities.

Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise a range of work activities in a busy environment and meet strict deadlines.

Experience of working in a team environment within a large organisation, with the ability to be flexible and support colleagues.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.

Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Strong digital literacy skills, with experience of, or willingness to be trained in, relevant systems.

Desirable Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

Experience of working in higher education administration.

Experience of working with University systems (e.g. Campus Solutions, Canvas).

Experience of working in a customer service environment.

Experience of supporting field courses, placements, or similar activities.
