Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and professional Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hairdressing and beauty services, delivering exceptional customer experiences. The successful applicant will be responsible for creating stylish looks while maintaining high standards of hygiene and customer service. Previous experience in store management, mentoring, and upselling will be advantageous in supporting the growth of our salon.
Duties
- Provide a wide range of hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, styling, and specialised treatments.
- Perform specialised beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions and makeup application.
- Offer personalised consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable styles or products.
- Manage front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling, client enquiries, and maintaining the salon’s organisation.
- Upsell products and additional services to maximise client satisfaction and revenue.
- Mentor junior staff members and assist with training programmes to ensure consistent service quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the salon environment in accordance with health regulations.
- Support store management tasks as required to ensure smooth daily operations.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across various styles.
- Knowledge of barbering techniques is desirable.
- Experience in customer service roles within the beauty or hairdressing industry is essential.
- Familiarity with front desk operations and appointment management systems.
- Skills in eyelash extensions, makeup application, and other specialised beauty treatments are highly valued.
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products or services effectively while maintaining excellent communication skills.
- Previous mentoring or supervisory experience is beneficial but not mandatory; training opportunities are available for motivated individuals seeking growth within the industry. Pay: £15,420.00-£51,673.16 per year
