Job Title: Qualified Dental Nurse
Overview
Mobberley Dental Practice is a five-surgery independent practice offering mixed NHS and private care, including orthodontics, implants, composite bonding and facial aesthetics. We are seeking a GDC-registered, qualified dental nurse to join our team and support our growing practice. There is opportunity to expand roles and responsibilities.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the dentist with general and specialist dental procedures
- Contribute proactively to practice improvement initiatives and suggest ways to enhance patient care and workflows.
- Support continuous improvement by participating in audits, team meetings and training.
- Support continuity of patient care and manage follow-up appointments
- Maintain and update patient records in the practice management system
- Communicate effectively with patients to address questions and concerns
- Work collaboratively with the dental team to deliver high-quality care
- Adhere to infection control protocols and clinical governance standards
Requirements
- Qualification in dental nursing and GDC registration
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Competent with IT and patient record systems (experience with SOE desirable but not essential)
- Proactive attitude with the ability to contribute positively to practice development and improvement.
- Willingness to suggest and implement improvements to patient care and clinic processes.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Team player with a patient-focused approach
Hours
- Monday–Thursday: 08:45–17:15
- Friday: 07:45–16:15
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
