Residential Conveyancer
Location: Preston | Hours: Full-Time | Type: On-Site
Are you a dedicated property professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Residential Conveyancer to join our growing team in Preston.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 2+ years’ experience who takes pride in delivering exceptional client service and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will manage transactions from instruction to completion, ensuring a smooth, compliant, and efficient journey for all parties.
What You’ll Do
- Manage your own caseload of residential sales and purchases from start to finish.
- Prepare, review, and draft legal documentation, including contracts and transfer deeds.
- Conduct property searches and carry out thorough due diligence checks.
- Build strong relationships and liaise effectively with clients, estate agents, solicitors, and lenders.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records using our case management systems.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues to prevent delays and ensure timely completions.
- Prioritise workload effectively to meet deadlines without compromising on quality.
What We’re Looking For
- Essential: Minimum 3 years’ experience in all aspects of residential conveyancing (PQE preferred).
- A solid understanding of the entire conveyancing process and legal requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with a client-focused approach.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage a busy workload under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident using case management software.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering a first-class service.
- Relevant legal qualifications are desirable but not essential for the right candidate.
