Job Overview
We are seeking a Food and Beverage Assistant to join our brasserie team in providing excellent service in a hospitality setting. We are looking for an outgoing and charismatic bartender/server to join our friendly team on a full-time basis.
You will be expected to work a variety of shift patterns such as 7am - 3pm, 12noon-9pm, 5pm - 10pm, 3pm -11pm. We do not offer accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding service to guests in the bar, lounge and restaurant areas.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine and Starbucks.
- Take and deliver food and drink orders efficiently and accurately.
- Engage with guests, offering recommendations and ensuring a memorable experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and service areas.
- Handle payments and operate POS systems accurately.
- Follow all health, safety and hygiene standards.
- Duties also include setting up for the day, restocking and closing.
Experience
- Previous experience as a bartender, server, or barista — preferably in a hotel, bar, or restaurant setting.
- Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
- Knowledge of classic cocktails, wines, and beverage service standards.
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
- A team player who brings positivity and professionalism to every shift.
