Grounds and Facilities Operative
Bredenbury Court Barns, Bredenbury, Herefordshire, HR7 4TB
Hours: 2 days per week to include both weekdays and weekend days. 20 hours per week. Additional hours are highly likely to be available within this very popular and growing business.
Position: Part Time. We are seeking a long-term employee to join our well established, professional, and friendly team.
Package: £12.93 per hour. Approximately 28 days holidays per year pro-rata dependent on hours worked.
General: We are currently looking to recruit a motivated, hardworking Grounds and Facilities Operative to join our family run wedding and events business. The venue having launched in June 2019 has already enjoyed considerable success and has quickly established an enviable reputation as a leading UK wedding location. We have for three consecutive years been in the Top 2 for ‘Best Wedding venue in the UK’.
The role requires a smart, professional, personable ‘all-rounder’ individual. Quick to learn and physically fit. The role involves a wide-ranging skill set and each team member is an important and valued part of our business.
Job Details:
The job of the Ground and Facilities Operative is to ensure the venue and grounds are always kept immaculate. The role includes the setup of the wedding receptions and corporate functions in line with the client’s individual requirements.
These duties include but are not limited to:
· Basic Carpentry Repairs
· Basic Plumbing
· Painting and Decorating
· Lawn Care
· Garden Maintenance
· General Labouring
Personal Profile:
· Excellent level of both spoken and written English
· Carpentry skills preferred but not essential
· Ability to work within a team as required
· Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy furniture
· Punctual and reliable
Job Requirements:
Own Transport Essential - Full Clean UK Driving License
