To qualify for this role you need the following-
Enhanced DBS- Update service, if not the purchase a new DBS = £65
Safeguarding Level 2- (can be completed online at a cost of £30)
Emergency Pediatric First Aid
Experience working with children in the school setting
You must be available to work the School Summer Holidays 23rdJuly- 28th August
Further opportunities at holiday camps are available depending on person.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Responsible for a group of children aged 5-12, delivering sports activities and games.
- Behaviour management and SEND.
- Create fun, enjoyable and engaging camp days in a safe environment.
- Work with other colleagues and external partners to ensure that best practice is followed at all times.
- Work with colleagues, schools, community groups and sports organisations to promote sport and healthy living.
- Adhere to all company procedures and standards and maintain the highest levels of safeguarding and child protection.
Candidates will be:
- Have experience working with children
- Committed to raising standards for all children.
- Committed to upholding positive relationships and behaviour management.
- Confident and competent in managing the behaviour of large and small groups of children.
- Able to create a stimulating environment which promotes enjoyment and development of all participants
- Excellent communicators when working with internal and external stakeholders
Location- Poole, Wimborne (Depending on where the company needs staff)
Hours- 8am-5pm MON-FRI
If successful, future holiday camp work will become an option.
