Art Therapist
Salary: £32,000 – £38,000 per annum

An exciting opportunity is available for a passionate and creative Art Therapist to support children and young people across a group of specialist education settings.
This is a multi-site role requiring travel between provisions throughout Greater Manchester and Derbyshire. The successful candidate will deliver creative therapeutic interventions designed to support emotional wellbeing, resilience, communication, and self-expression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group art therapy sessions
- Support pupils with emotional, behavioural, and additional needs
- Develop tailored therapeutic intervention plans
- Work collaboratively with education staff, families, and external professionals
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports
- Promote emotional wellbeing through creative therapeutic approaches
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Art Psychotherapy/Art Therapy
- HCPC registration essential
- Experience supporting children and young people desirable
- Experience working within SEN or specialist settings advantageous
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites
