The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll step into the classroom when teachers are absent, ensuring students remain engaged and focused on their learning.
You'll be responsible for:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects.
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Supporting students to complete work set by teaching staff.
- Encouraging participation, engagement and achievement.
- Building positive relationships with students and school staff.
- Providing feedback to teachers on lesson progress and student behaviour.
No lesson planning or marking is required.

What We're Looking For
We'd love to hear from candidates who have:
- Experience working with young people, either in schools, coaching, mentoring, youth work or similar settings.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- Confidence leading groups and working independently.
- A professional, adaptable and positive attitude.
- A genuine passion for supporting young people and education.

- Hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Child Workforce, or be willing to obtain one through us.
- Provide suitable references and employment history checks.
- Complete all required compliance and safeguarding checks before placement.
- Undertake safeguarding training, provided free of charge where required.
