The Seaglaze Group are now recruiting Glass Operatives. No experience is necessary; just a willingness to learn, be flexible and have a great work ethic. Duties include; handling and processing glass which includes cutting, polishing and manufacturing of laminated units.

Seaglaze Group is a forward-thinking manufacturing group with over 50 years of engineering heritage. Based in Rackheath, we employ more than 70 people across two specialist manufacturing businesses:
- Seaglaze Marine Windows — designing and manufacturing bespoke marine windows, doors, and hatches for commercial, leisure, and specialist vessels.
- Specialist Toughened Glass — producing high-performance toughened glass solutions for marine, architectural, and specialist industrial applications
Together, we combine engineering expertise and craftmanship, and modern manufacturing to deliver high quality bespoke products to customers across the UK and internationally.
Hours and Pay: 40 per week with up to 10 hours overtime available. This position will involve working 11:30 – 20:00 Monday to Friday with some Saturday mornings when customer demands are high. Whilst on probation your basic rate of pay will be £12.75 with an enhanced overtime rate of £15.93. Once you have passed your probation, your basic rate will increase to £13.00 and overtime will be £16.25.
Qualifications / experience:
- Basic understanding of quality control principles.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- You should also be good with IT technology as we have our own bespoke software.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects when necessary.
- Commitment to health and safety and maintaining a clean work environment.
