Role Description:
Psyche Health is continuing to grow, and we are looking to welcome a newly qualified or preceptorship psychologist to join our team.
This is a full-time, employed hybrid role working across residential care, secure settings, and wider specialist adult services across Lancashire and West Yorkshire. The role involves delivering trauma-informed psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention within complex and relational environments.The caseload will be varied and will include work with children and young people in residential and secure settings, as well as work with adults presenting with complex trauma, risk, and mental health needs. The role will also involve consultation with staff teams, contributing to care planning, and delivering reflective practice and training within services. This is a diverse role requiring strong formulation skills, flexibility, and a trauma-informed approach across different service contexts.

We are looking for someone who:
· Is HCPC registered (or nearing registration via preceptorship)
· Has a strong interest in working across complex and high-risk services
· Values trauma-informed and psychologically informed practice
· Is reflective, motivated, and eager to develop
· Can travel across Lancashire and West Yorkshire as required
· Experience working with looked-after children, residential care, or similar complex presentations is highly beneficial.
· Strong understanding of attachment, developmental trauma and therapeutic care.
· Excellent communication, teamwork, and consultation skills, with the ability to provide training and reflective spaces for staff.
· Ability to work autonomously within professional and ethical guidelines, manage a varied caseload, and prioritize safely.
