Job Title: Band 7 Mental Health Practitioner

Ward: CAMHS Learning Disabilities
Pay Rates: £24.82 per hour
Shift Patterns: 8:00am - 16:00pm/16:00pm/9:00am – 17:00pm, 3 to 5 days per week

Job Responsibilities:
· You will support CAMHS staff in learning disability related issues.
· You will act as key worker for individual caseloads.
· You will promote knowledge of mental health and prevention of mental health illness.
· You will plan and implement client centred individual or group interventions to achieve therapeutic goals.
What you’ll need:
· Professional Qualification in Registered Nursing, Social Work or Occupational Therapy.
· Up to date Professional Registration (to be maintained).
· Evidence of continuous and recent professional development and post qualification training/studies.
· Previous experience providing a service to Children and Young people with a learning disability within a multi-disciplinary team.
