As a Room-Based Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of your designated room, leading by example and ensuring high-quality care and education at all times.
What You Will Do
- Lead and support the daily running of your designated room, ensuring high standards of care and education
- Create exciting, engaging and nurturing learning environments
- Plan, implement and oversee play-based activities that inspire children to learn
- Support and mentor team members within the room, promoting best practice
- Build strong, professional relationships with families, colleagues and external professionals
- Ensure all safeguarding, health & safety, and EYFS requirements are met and maintained
- Promote a safe, supportive and inclusive setting for all children
- Assist the Nursery Manager in driving continuous improvement and maintaining high standards across the setting
- Be part of a positive, forward-thinking team who value creativity and high-quality care

What We Are Looking For
- A full Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 5 or above desirable)
- Previous experience in a senior or leadership role within an early years setting
- A warm, nurturing and proactive approach to childcare
- Strong leadership, communication and teamwork skills
- A sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
- A commitment to creating meaningful learning experiences
- A passion for helping children flourish, learn and grow
