What is this role?
As an Early Years Educator, you will support children’s learning, development, care and wellbeing within a warm and nurturing nursery environment. You will work as part of the nursery team to create engaging activities, support children’s routines, build positive relationships with families and help ensure every child feels safe, valued and encouraged.
This role is ideal for someone who has a genuine passion for supporting children during the most important stage of their development.
What are the responsibilities of the role?
- To provide high-quality care and learning experience for children.
- Support children's emotional, social, physical and educational development.
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities in-line with the EYFS.
- Observe, assess and record children's development.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and/or carers.
- Support daily routines including meals, sleep times, toileting and personal care.
- Create a safe, caring, and engaging environment for children to learn through play.
- Work closely with the nursery team to support room routines and ratios.
You should apply if you have the following...
- An accredited Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a nursery, preschool or early years setting
- A caring, positive and patient approach
- A strong understanding of the EYFS
- An understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection
- The ability to work well as part of a team
What are the requirements for the role?
- You MUST hold an accredited Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years or Childcare
You MUST have the right to work within the UK - Please note, we are currently unable to offer sponsorship for this role
- You must be willing to complete relevant background checks
- Previous nursery or early years experience is desirable
