Class 2 Driver – Temp to Perm

Eclipse Recruitment Driving Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join a growing and successful operation based in Langar.
This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity offering regular hours, overtime, monthly bonuses and long-term career prospects.
The Role
Working as part of a two-person crew, you will be responsible for the delivery and collection of commercial wheelie bins from business premises across the region.
This is a hands-on role where both team members share responsibility for driving and loading duties throughout the day.
Duties Include:
- Delivering and collecting commercial wheelie bins
- Loading and unloading bins at customer sites
- Providing excellent customer service
- Completing daily vehicle checks
- Working safely and efficiently as part of a team
- Following planned routes and schedules
Hours & Pay
- Monday to Friday
- Start times from 5:00am
- Finish times up to 5:00pm
- 40-hour guaranteed contract
- £14.42 per hour
- Time and a half paid after 40 hours
- Average 50 hours per week
- £180 monthly performance bonus
Expected Earnings
With regular overtime and bonus payments, drivers can realistically earn between £41,000 and £44,000 per year.
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good level of physical fitness
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Experience
Previous refuse, recycling or commercial bin collection experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
