Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Sorter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently organising and categorising clothings and bric-a- brac within the warehouse environment. This role requires physical stamina, mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with warehouse operations. The Warehouse Sorter plays a vital part in ensuring smooth shipping, receiving, and clothes handling processes, contributing to overall warehouse efficiency and safety.
Responsibilities
- Sorting clothing stock accurately into categories and waste
- Organising items within designated warehouse areas
- Checking goods for damage or discrepancies
- Keeping the warehouse clean and safe
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to adhere to health and safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to optimise warehouse workflow and productivity
- Supporting the wider warehouse team when required
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not essential
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and handle demanding tasks
- Ability to work efficiently and follow instructions
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
