We are recruiting for 26tonne Driver for our Telford Depot.

As a Driver you will be expected to...
- Perform all duties in compliance with legal/statutory regulations
- Follow company and O Licence guidelines
- Complete a daily vehicle check and defect reporting process
- Be responsible for proper load security in line with transport legislative guidance
- Complete final load checks
- Keep in line with Drivers EU Hours/WTD and tachograph compliance
- Conduct vehicle defect checks before leaving the depot
- Keep your DCPC hours up to date
- Complete any training requested by the company
- Be flexible and willing to assist any part of the operation
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
- Uphold excellent customer service
- Comply with all company polices & procedures
- Use a PDA both to check your load and to affirm all deliveries and collections
- Confirm the accuracy of product returns/collections whilst on site with the customer
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles
- Assist in the orientation and training of new team members where requested
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with appropriate category for operating a 26tonne vehicle
- Proven experience as a delivery driver.
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Strong time management and organizational skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Ability to work independently and make decisions on the road
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues
- Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading of goods and perform repetitive tasks
