Job Title: Valeter
Reporting to: General Manager
Working Hours: 45 hours per week Mon - Fri 8am - 6pm - 1 hour for lunch.
Salary/Hourly Rate: Meets NMW
Location: Medway City Estate, Strood, Kent
Purpose:
EVision are currently looking to recruit a Valeter to join our team in Strood!
The successful candidate will clean a wide range of top to mid-range electric vehicles,
including but not limited to Tesla S and X models, Jaguar I-Pace, Renault Zoe, BMW i3,
Audi E-Tron, a variety of electric vans plus many more. This would mean you will
consistently ensure that vehicles are prepared to a high standard so that they are
suitable and ready for hire.
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and preparing the cars on fleet to showroom standard, ready for them to
- go out on hire to customers.
- Wash, polish, vacuum and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors
- Carrying out vehicle safety checks prior to the vehicles going out on hire.
- Checking car tyre pressures on the vehicles
- Inspect vehicles for cosmetic damage and reporting it to a senior member of the
- team
- Driving the cars around the forecourt
- Ensure charging cables and EV charging equipment re stored correctly
- Monitor vehicle battery levels and assist with charging where requires
- Keeping the vehicle storage space clean and tidy at all times
- Using cleaning products and equipment correctly and safely
- Monitor stock levels of cleaning products and valeting supplies and report when replacement are required
- Support the wider team with adhoc operational duties to ensure smooth day to day operations
Skills/Qualifications:
- A full clean driving licence (essential)
- Previous valeting or vehicle cleaning experience preferred
- Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Pro active with a “can do” attitude
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Good time management and organisational skills
