We are working with a well-established and growing construction business in Preston that is looking to appoint a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone in the early stages of their career to gain hands-on experience across a range of projects while being supported in their professional development.
The Role
You will play a key part in ensuring projects are delivered commercially and efficiently. Working alongside senior team members, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting

Preparing and evaluating subcontractor packages and tenders

Supporting the management of valuations, variations, and final accounts

Monitoring project costs and reporting on commercial performance

Liaising with site teams, clients, and supply chain partners

Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and in line with contractual obligations
About You

Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

Up to 3 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role (contractor or consultancy)

Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail

Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across teams

Proactive, organised, and keen to learn and develop

Working towards (or interested in pursuing) professional accreditation (e.g., RICS)
