Part-Time Patisserie Chef - Waves Coffee Bar & Patisserie
We’re looking for a talented and passionate Part-Time Patisserie Chef to join the kitchen team at Waves Coffee Bar & Patisserie.
This role is perfect for somebody who genuinely loves baking, takes pride in presentation, and enjoys working within a fast-paced independent coffee shop environment. We’re searching for someone creative, organised, and reliable who can help maintain the quality and consistency our customers know us for.
At Waves, our kitchen is a huge part of what makes the shop special. From pastries and cakes to seasonal specials and baked goods, we care deeply about making products that not only taste incredible but look beautiful too.
The ideal candidate will be able to assist the kitchen team while following instruction. Already possess a passion and talent for baking, while wanting to expand this knowledge over time. There will be future roles to develop into after time with the company.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and baking pastries, cakes, traybakes, desserts, and other sweet items
- Assisting with recipe preparation, portioning, and daily production planning
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, and kitchen organisation
- Monitoring stock levels and communicating ingredient requirements
- Ensuring products are consistently presented to a high standard
- Supporting with seasonal menu ideas and creative product development
- Working efficiently during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail
- Following food safety and allergen procedures at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in a patisserie, bakery, café kitchen, or similar role
- A genuine passion for baking and food presentation
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Calm and professional attitude within a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety standards
- Weekend availability preferred

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
