Van Driver
C & M Global Ltd is an exporter of second-hand textiles, children’s toys, bric-a-brac and end-of-line clearance stock. We are seeking a van driver based in the Salisbury area to collect from charity shops to an arranged schedule around the South West. A company van will be provided.
This is not just a “driving job”, this is a physically demanding role and will include a lot of manual handling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting from charity shops.
- Using GPS navigation apps and geographical knowledge to ensure the most efficient use of time.
- Carrying out daily checks on vans.
- Safely and efficiently operate a 3.5t van for collection duties.
- Adhere to all road traffic regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of collections and mileage.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Essential:
- Full/valid UK driving license, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience and no more than 6 points
- Documents verifying eligibility to work in the UK
- A high-level of physical fitness, due to the nature of the work
- Pass mandatory drug and alcohol tests, as required
- Great communication skills
