Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable, professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join our growing team.
The successful candidate will safely transport goods, ensure on-time deliveries, and maintain the highest standards of vehicle care, customer service and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and in line with UK regulations.
- Be willing to drive 18-tonne Class 2 vehicles when required.
- Carry out tail lift deliveries as part of the role.
- Load, unload and secure goods safely.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate delivery documentation.
- Plan routes efficiently and communicate effectively with the transport office and customers.
- Comply with all company health & safety policies and driving regulations.
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Excellent driving record and commitment to safety.
- Previous commercial driving experience is essential.
- Physically capable of loading and unloading when required.
- Experience within The Pallet Network (TPN) or another pallet network is advantageous but not essential.
- Applicants must meet our motor insurance eligibility requirements.
