Support Worker
Location: Liverpool
Pay: £18.50 –£19.50 per hour (via umbrella)
Contract: 3 months initially, with strong potential to extend
Start: Immediate
Requirements: Driver + Adult DBS issued within the last 3 years
Job Description
We are recruiting an experienced Support Worker to support individuals with complex needs. You will manage a caseload of around 10 service users, providing person‑centred support in their homes to help them maintain their tenancy, build independence, and access the services they need.
This is a community‑based role, ideal for someone confident working autonomously and passionate about supporting vulnerable people to achieve stability and long‑term wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one resettlement and tenancy sustainment support to a caseload of approximately 10 individuals
- Support service users with complex needs, including mental health, substance misuse, and social vulnerabilities
- Carry out home visits across Liverpool, helping individuals manage their tenancy and develop independent living skills
- Complete risk assessments, support plans, and regular welfare checks
- Help service users manage their tenancy, understand their responsibilities, and prevent tenancy breakdown
- Provide practical support around budgeting, managing bills, and accessing financial advice
About You
- Experience supporting vulnerable adults, ideally within homelessness, resettlement, or complex‑needs services
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management, and tenancy sustainment
- Confident working independently and managing a small but complex caseload
- Driver with access to a vehicle
- Adult Enhanced DBS issued within the last 3 years
- Able to start immediately or within 1 week
