Job Summary

Duties
- Develop innovative menus that align with the restaurant’s concept and customer preferences, incorporating dietary considerations and current food trends
- Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence
- Manage inventory control and food handling procedures to minimize waste and optimize resources while maintaining strict food safety standards
- Oversee catering, banquet, and special event services, ensuring seamless execution from setup to service completion
- Lead and mentor kitchen staff through effective team management, providing training on culinary techniques, safety protocols, and customer service excellence
- Monitor shift management activities, including scheduling, workflow coordination, and maintaining a positive work environment
- Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and ensure compliance with health regulations
Experience
- Proven culinary experience in fine dining establishments or high-volume food service environments
- Demonstrated supervising experience with a track record of leading successful kitchen teams
- Extensive background in food production, menu planning, and restaurant management
- Experience in banquet service, catering operations, or large-scale event catering is highly desirable
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and food safety regulations (including HACCP standards)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative team atmosphere
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards related to food handling, serving techniques, and kitchen management
