Education House Leeds is a trusted independent training provider based in Leeds. Established in 2014, we are dedicated to helping learners develop the skills, confidence and qualifications they need to progress in their education, careers and life in the UK.
We deliver accredited qualifications and community learning programmes to UK and international learners through flexible study options, including in-person, online, blended and hybrid learning. Our programmes include English language and test preparation, Life in the UK, Driving Theory Test preparation, business management, leadership and professional development courses.
We are a professional, supportive and community-focused organisation, and we are looking for a motivated Volunteer Marketing Manager to help us promote our services, strengthen our online presence and reach more learners in the local community.
About the Role
We are looking for a creative, organised and enthusiastic Volunteer Marketing Manager to support our marketing activities and help raise awareness of Education House Leeds.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to gain valuable marketing experience, build their portfolio, develop leadership skills and make a positive impact in the community. You will support the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns, social media content, promotional materials and community outreach activities.
Previous experience in marketing is helpful, but not essential. Full support and guidance will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
The role will include:
Supporting the development of marketing plans and promotional campaigns
Creating content for social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
Helping to promote courses, events and learner opportunities
Writing engaging posts, captions and basic promotional copy
Supporting the design of flyers, posters and digital marketing materials
Helping to update website content and online listings
Monitoring social media engagement and suggesting ways to improve reach
Supporting email marketing and learner communication campaigns
Taking photos or videos for promotional use, where appropriate
Researching local community groups, organisations and partnership opportunities
Helping to build brand awareness for Education House Leeds
Working closely with the team to support marketing and outreach activities
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Creative, motivated and willing to learn
Confident using social media platforms
Able to write clear and engaging content in English
Organised and able to manage tasks effectively
Friendly, professional and reliable
Interested in education, training and community support
Comfortable using basic digital tools such as Canva, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Good at communicating ideas clearly
Enthusiastic about helping learners and supporting the local community
Experience in marketing, social media, content creation, graphic design or community outreach would be useful, but full training and support can be provided.
