Job Purpose:
To provide a safe, stimulating, caring, and inclusive environment for children aged 0–4 years, supporting their learning and development in line with the EYFS framework and our nursery's bilingual ethos.
The practitioner will support children’s emotional wellbeing, communication, independence, and curiosity through high-quality play experiences and positive interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children’s learning and development through play and activities
- Ensure children’s safety, wellbeing, and emotional needs are met
- Complete observations and contribute to learning journeys
- Build positive relationships with parents and colleagues
- Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies
- Support children within a bilingual learning environment
Requirements
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Good understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Previous nursery experience preferred
- French speaking is desirable but not essential
Pay: £12.21-£18.92 per hour
