R & A Muir Haulage Contractors are a family owned business who have been operating for over 100 years. We are currently looking for Class 2 Tipper Drivers to join our team on a full time basis, with an immediate start.
You must hold a current HGV Class 2 license along with Digi card and CPC.
Our work mainly covers the west and central belt of Scotland, but, there maybe some occasions when work can take you further afield.
Hours may vary although a 40 hour week Mon-Fri would be standard plus overtime. You will also be required to work weekends.
Experience:
Tipper experience is beneficial but not essential. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities are to:
- Complete daily vehicle condition reports and defect books
- Good communication skills
- Complete all relevant paperwork with the customer
- Drive vehicles in a safe, lawful manner
- Report any accidents/incidents without delay
- Good time keeping
