We are seeking an experienced and motivated Advanced Practitioner to join our Quality, Teaching, Learning & Assessment Team on a fixed-term basis.

What You'll Be Doing
Working closely with curriculum teams, managers and teaching staff, you will drive improvements in teaching, learning and assessment through coaching, mentoring and staff development activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coaching and mentoring staff to improve teaching, learning and assessment practice.
- Designing and delivering engaging CPD, training and development programmes.
- Supporting colleagues following Learning Walks through targeted developmental interventions.
- Undertaking Learning Walks and providing constructive, impactful feedback.
- Acting as a Subject Learning Coach where required.
- Supporting curriculum areas to improve learner attendance, retention, achievement and progression.
- Promoting innovative approaches to teaching, including the effective use of digital technologies and AI.
- Leading quality improvement activities including coaching, work scrutiny and desk-based reviews.
- Sharing best practice and fostering a culture of continuous professional development across the College.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for an experienced teaching and learning professional who can inspire others and drive improvement.
You will have:
- A recognised teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE or equivalent).
- Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent).
- Significant experience of delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment.
- Experience of coaching, mentoring or supporting colleagues to improve practice.
- Strong knowledge of effective teaching methodologies and learner engagement strategies.
- Experience of using digital technologies to enhance learning.
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to analyse performance data and use insights to drive improvement.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and learner success.
