Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring our clients’ environments are safe, welcoming, and professionally maintained. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. This position offers flexible hours suitable for those seeking part-time employment.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties across designated commercial spaces, including offices, retail outlets, and other business premises
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all surfaces to ensure a high standard of cleanliness
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and soap dispensers as needed
- Follow health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning activities
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks effectively
