The Fountain Inn is a busy, welcoming pub in the heart of Builth Wells, serving quality homemade food in a friendly atmosphere. We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Cook to join our kitchen team and help deliver consistently high standards to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items to a high standard.
- Assist with menu preparation and daily specials.
- Ensure food is presented attractively and served promptly.
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety standards at all times.
- Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Support other kitchen team members as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or cooking role
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety procedures.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team.
- Must work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
