Salary and Benefits
£47,000 – £50,000 starting salary
- £1,000 salary increases after 6 and 12 months
- Up to 10% annual bonus based on quality and performance
- Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm – no nights or weekends (part-time available)

Role Overview As a Clinical Case Assessor, you will carry out structured assessments to understand how a claimant’s health condition or disability impacts their daily functioning and work capability.
You will:
- Conduct assessments via telephone and face-to-face consultations
- Review medical evidence, health questionnaires, and daily living activities
- Compile clear, detailed, and objective reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
Example Duties
- Interview claimants to understand their health conditions and daily challenges
- Analyse medical records and supporting evidence
- Produce comprehensive, evidence-based reports
- Provide recommendations following thorough, holistic assessments
Training Programme All successful candidates complete a comprehensive 12-week training programme covering:
- Assessment techniques and best practice
- DWP guidelines and requirements
- Professional report writing and IT systems
Who We Are Looking For Registered healthcare professionals:
- Registered Adult Nurses (RGN, RMN, RNLD)
- Occupational Therapists (adult-focused)
- Physiotherapists (adult-focused)
- Paramedics (adult-focused)
- Pharmacists (adult-focused)
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year post-registration recent experience in an adult clinical setting
- At least 1 year of active NMC or HCPC registration
- Strong communication and assessment skills
- Confident typing, report writing, and IT skills
