Job Overview
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties across designated areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard
- Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishments are needed
- Dispose of waste responsibly and in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning to the supervisor
- Follow health and safety guidelines strictly to prevent accidents or injuries
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to meet their specific cleaning requirements
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning or related roles is advantageous but not mandatory
- Good command of English, both spoken and written
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
- Strong customer service orientation with a professional attitude
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Organised, punctual, and reliable with a keen eye for detail
- Physical fitness to perform cleaning tasks that may involve bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
