Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional support to individuals in need of assistance, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, as well as the ability to manage various tasks associated with daily living.
Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Administer medication according to care plans and ensure adherence to prescribed schedules.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs, promoting independence and dignity.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Assist with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes in condition or behaviour to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, including medical terminology where applicable.
- Implement behaviour management strategies as needed to ensure client safety and comfort.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
Experience
Candidates should possess relevant experience in caregiving or a related field. Familiarity with first aid procedures is highly desirable, along with knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices. Experience in a care home setting is advantageous but not essential. A genuine passion for helping others and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are crucial for success in this role.
Pay: £14.00-£14.50 per hour
