Technical Product Owner – Sales & Operations (Contract) | Outside IR35
Location: London (3-4 days per week onsite, 1-2 days remote)
Contract Length: Initial 6 months with strong extension potential

We are looking for an experienced Technical Product Owner to lead a business-critical Salesforce platform supporting sales and operational functions.
This role requires a unique blend of strategic product ownership and deep Salesforce expertise. You'll work across business and technology teams, providing technical leadership while driving platform improvements, vendor management, and delivery outcomes.
Approximately 60% of the role will focus on technical leadership and platform ownership, with 40% focused on product strategy, stakeholder engagement, and roadmap planning.
Responsibilities:
- Own and drive the Salesforce product roadmap
- Gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders, technology teams, and third-party vendors
- Ensure platform stability, scalability, and continuous improvement
- Perform peer reviews and provide technical guidance where required
- Support the design of integrations and API-led solutions
- Drive prioritisation and delivery across multiple workstreams
- Mentor team members and establish best practice processes
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner, Product Manager, or Salesforce Platform Lead
- Strong Salesforce platform expertise, particularly Sales Cloud
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ
- Ability to remain hands-on with Salesforce configuration and automation, including Flows
- Strong understanding of integrations, APIs, and platform architecture
- Experience managing third-party vendors and delivery partners
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Commercial industry experience preferred
