Quality Assurance
The ideal candidate would be friendly confident, motivated, enthusiastic, and outgoing, flexible with an eye for detail. It is necessary that candidate shows commitment to food safety and a high standard of professionalism; high level of personal hygiene and being personable; enthusiastic and self-motivated with plenty of initiative and able to influence people to ensure standards are maintained. We are not only looking for formal qualifications but experience of working in a food industry, QC environment would be an advantage.
Job Role and Responsibilities:
- To perform regular In-process quality checks for production area, monitoring the production processes
- Ensuring all checks and sampling are carried out at specified times
- Reporting any issues and non-conformance to management
- Carrying out swabbing and sample collections
- Monitoring of hygiene standards
- Carrying out checks on metal detectors
- Recording all inspection results
- Temperature checks
- Checking manufactured products against internal specification (weight and size checks of products, etc.)
- Monitoring basic Health & Safety standards and GMP (Good Manufacturing Process)
- Carrying out daily and weekly equipment calibrations
Essential criteria and experience
- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing/production (or similar) environment (preferably food production)
- Logical thinking and basic understanding on GMP (Good manufacturing practice)
- Attention to detail is necessary
- Clear verbal communication in English
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Display a positive attitude towards work, team members and overall company goals
Preferable Experience
· Previous Quality Control experience
- Food-related degrees
- Knowledge of the HACCP system
- Food hygiene qualification
