This is a fantastic volunteer opportunity to help shape the strategic direction of a growing apprenticeship provider and improve outcomes for learners, employers and communities.
We are seeking individuals who bring a range of skills and experience from their professional, personal, and volunteer lives to provide independent strategic oversight of the management and operation of the organisation. The board of governors is designed to improve the quality of education and raise standards at Apprenticeship Connect in line with the overall business strategic plan.

- The Board of Governors has been established since 2022 and currently has five members.
- Meetings are held every 8 weeks for one hour and are conducted online via Zoom on weekdays.
- This is a voluntary position with travel, catering and associated costs paid for by the organisation as required.
- Support and training will be provided by the leadership and management team at Apprenticeship Connect to implement goals and monitor performance.

The appointment of new governors is designed to support the organisation’s next phase of strategic development.

Governor role information
Location: meetings are generally held remotely via video call, occasional in person meetings may be required in London.
Governors’ roles aren’t remunerated however travel, sustenance and training expenses are paid.
