We are seeking a reliable and professional DPD Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering parcels efficiently and safely to customers across designated routes. Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and lorries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely parcel drop-offs
- Load and unload parcels, often requiring heavy lifting, ensuring items are secure during transit
- Obtain signatures or proof of delivery from customers upon completion of each drop-off
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly
- Uphold high standards of customer service, representing the company professionally at all times
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred, with a strong understanding of commercial driving practices
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence is essential, with a clean driving record
- Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during deliveries
- Excellent communication skills to interact courteously with customers and team members
- Familiarity with route planning software or GPS devices is beneficial

Pay: £100.00-£217.84 per day
