Overview

Duties
- Assist the lead teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities tailored to the needs of individual students.
- Provide support to students with special educational needs, ensuring they can fully participate in classroom activities.
- Help create a positive and nurturing learning environment that promotes student well-being and academic success.
- Work closely with students one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts and provide additional tutoring as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
- Monitor student progress and behaviour, providing feedback to the teaching staff on individual achievements and challenges.
- Foster effective communication between students, teachers, and parents to enhance the educational experience.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications.
- Experience working with children, including direct experience working with children with special educational needs.
- Understanding of teaching methodologies and strategies for supporting diverse learners.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to mentor and tutor students, providing guidance that fosters their academic growth.
