We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our Legal team in the role of Senior Negotiator or Senior Legal Counsel.

Working at the intersection of Legal, Business and Technology, you’ll act as a trusted subject matter expert while helping to improve processes, influence strategy and support implementation of AI-enabled solutions across the function.

In this role you will:

Act as the Subject Matter Expert for core market products and associated legal documentation, including ISDA Master Agreements, Global Master Repurchase Agreements (GMRA) and Global Master Securities Lending Agreements (GMSLA)

Design, implement and optimise AI enabled legal workflows and solutions to improve legal service delivery, efficiency and risk management

Partner with Legal, Business and Technology stakeholder to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational excellence

Support the ongoing development of legal operating models, workflows and strategic transformation initiatives across the Markets Legal Function.

Lead and support complex negotiations across a broad range of Markets documentation and contractual arrangements.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

Strong subject matter expertise in Markets legal documentation, including ISDA, GMRA and GMSLA agreements

Strong understanding of legal processes, operating models and workflow design, with the ability to translate legal requirements into practical solutions

Experience driving innovation, transformation, process improvement or AL-enabled initiatives within a legal or regulated environment

Proven experience within a Markets Legal documentation or negotiation environment, with the ability to manage complex contractual arrangements
-
Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across Legal, Business and Technology functions
