We are seeking a responsible and attentive CPCS Traffic Marshall (A73) to oversee vehicle and pedestrian movement on-site. The successful candidate will ensure safety, manage traffic flow, and facilitate smooth operations within the designated area. This role is vital in maintaining a secure environment and supporting the efficient functioning of the site. The position offers an opportunity to develop management and communication skills in a dynamic setting.
Duties
- Direct vehicles and pedestrians to ensure safe and efficient movement within the site
- Monitor traffic flow and adjust control measures as necessary
- Maintain clear communication with drivers, pedestrians, and site personnel to coordinate activities effectively
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on traffic control equipment and signage
- Assist with site management tasks related to traffic organisation
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Record relevant data related to traffic patterns and incidents for reporting purposes
Experience
- Previous experience in management or traffic control roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures for traffic control equipment is desirable
- Valid driving licence is preferred to assist with site vehicle movements
- Excellent communication skills are essential for liaising effectively with team members and external parties
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
Confidence in managing safety procedures and responding promptly to incidents
Pay: £12.70-£15.50 per hour
