We are seeking a reliable and physically capable On-site Labourer/Operative to join our team. This role involves supporting various on-site tasks, assisting with site preparation, and ensuring smooth operational workflows. Responsibilities
- Assisting with site setup, including moving materials and equipment to designated areas
- Supporting the installation and assembly of structures or components as directed
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the work site to ensure safety standards are met
- Operating basic tools and machinery in accordance with safety protocols
- Assisting with loading and unloading materials from lorries or storage areas
- Supporting team members in completing tasks efficiently and accurately
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations at all times during operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in manual labour or construction-related roles is advantageous but not essential
- Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks over extended periods
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions carefully
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices on-site is desirable
- A valid UK driving licence is preferred but not mandatory
