Job Title: Marketing Operations Co-ordinator / specialist
Work Location: Blackburn / Hybrid
Role Summary
You will manage and improve our core marketing platforms, email, attribution software, SMS and Google product suite to ensure campaigns run smoothly, data stays accurate, and the team can measure performance effectively. You’ll collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Development Team and CRM teams to maintain a seamless experience across telephony, email, web, mobile and other channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimise core marketing platforms (email, attribution tools, SMS, Google suite)
- Build and maintain workflows, email campaigns, templates and landing pages
- Implement and troubleshoot tracking (UTMs, pixels) to ensure accurate attribution
- Support the planning, setup and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Monitor campaign performance, identify issues and resolve them quickly
- Maintain data quality across systems, including deduplication and field accuracy
- Ensure seamless integration and data flow between marketing platforms, CRM and dialler systems
- Produce regular reports and dashboards on campaign performance, engagement and revenue attribution
- Conduct QA testing on campaigns, including email rendering, tracking and A/B testing
- Document processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and automation
- Ensure compliance with GDPR/PECR and maintain data security across platforms
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Business, Information Systems or related field
- 2–4 years’ experience in marketing operations or digital marketing with hands-on platform use
Technical Skills
- Experience building campaigns, workflows, forms and reports within marketing platforms
- Knowledge of attribution tracking (UTMs, pixels) and troubleshooting
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; SQL knowledge desirable
Analytical & Problem-Solving
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
- High attention to detail with experience identifying and resolving data issues
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues under pressure
Communication & Collaboration
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Experience working cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, IT and other stakeholders
