Duties

- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery times and any unforeseen issues.
- Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations and company policies during operations.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo when necessary, ensuring proper handling procedures are followed.
Skills
- Proven experience as a commercial driver, particularly with flatbed lorries or similar vehicles.
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for commercial transportation.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage schedules efficiently.
- Ability to handle delivery documentation accurately and responsibly.
- Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.
- Physical fitness to load, unload, and secure cargo as required.
