About the Role
As a 1st Line IT Support Technician, you’ll be the first point of contact for technical issues, supporting users with a wide range of IT queries.
You’ll gain experience across hardware, software, and network support, working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
IT Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide first-line technical support via phone, email, and remote tools
- Diagnose and resolve issues relating to hardware, software, and operating systems
- Troubleshoot application errors and system issues
Systems & Setup
- Install and configure computer hardware and operating systems
- Set up new user accounts, profiles, and access permissions
- Support onboarding of new devices and users
Network & Maintenance
- Assist with monitoring and maintaining systems and networks
- Identify faults and support resolving connectivity issues
- Replace or upgrade hardware components when required
Service Delivery
- Log and manage support requests through internal systems
- Keep users informed throughout the support process
- Test and evaluate systems to ensure performance and reliability
About You

Desirable (Not Essential)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Any previous IT support or technical experience
- Understanding of hardware, software, or networking fundamentals
