About the Role
We are looking for a professional and customer-focused Retail Security Officer to join our team at LIDL evesham
This role plays a key part in providing a safe and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues while helping to reduce loss and support the store's daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular internal and external patrols of the store.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers where required.
- Deter and prevent theft, fraud and anti-social behaviour.
- Monitor for suspicious activity and respond appropriately.
- Complete accurate incident reports using company reporting systems.
- Liaise professionally with store management, colleagues and emergency services when required.
- Maintain a visible and reassuring security presence throughout each shift.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard licence.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual and professional.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Previous retail security experience is desirable but not essential.
Please note: Due to the location of this store and limited public transport links, applicants should ideally have access to their own vehicle or live within a reasonable commuting distance of the site.
