Happy Feet are seeking dedicated and passionate Qualified Nursery Practitioners to join our teams at Wimborne & Westbourne in various roles, as our nurseries continue to grow with families eager to join our waitlist!
The ideal candidates will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners, fostering their development and growth through engaging activities and experiences.
Roles we are looking for
- Level 3 Practitioners (Wimborne & Westbourne)
- Level 2 Practitioners -(Wimborne & Westbourne)
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery setting.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development across various domains.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues in English to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare.
- Manage daily routines, ensuring that all children's needs are met in a timely manner.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to track their development.
- Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery environment and promote best practices in early years education.
- Exhibit leadership qualities by mentoring junior staff and supporting their professional development.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised nursery space that meets health and safety standards.
Requirements
- A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience working with children is essential.
- Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children and families.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a positive attitude in a busy environment.
- A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development through play-based learning.
- Leadership skills to inspire teamwork and foster an inclusive atmosphere within the nursery.
