The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing a variety of vehicles , ensuring optimal performance and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical background who are eager to work in a dynamic and friendly environment. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of mechanical systems, and the use of various hand and power tools. A commitment to high-quality workmanship and customer service is essential. HOURS OF WORK ARE MONDAY TO FRIDAY 9 TILL 5, OVERTIME IS ESSENTIALLY ALWAYS AVAILABLE IF SUITS INDIVIDUALS REQUIREMENTS. Competitive Salary , negiotiable on experience
Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults and mechanical knowledge to identify issues accurately
- Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles and machinery, including engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical systems
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, to carry out assembly, repair, and maintenance tasks
- Carry out heavy lifting as required for parts replacement or repair
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations
Experience
- Proven experience as a Motor Mechanic - Time Served
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, and electrical components
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills
